ANPAS Abruzzo

Comitato Regionale ANPAS Abruzzo is the regional committee of ANPAS, the network of public assistance organizations in Abruzzo. It coordinates and supports local associations and promotes services and initiatives spanning healthcare, civil protection, social policies, youth engagement, and international adoption. The committee also provides information and training, with dedicated contacts for operational coordination, communications, and its scientific and technical activities.

Its work includes supporting civil protection and healthcare services and encouraging community participation through programs such as Universal Civil Service. In 2026, ANPAS Abruzzo public assistance organizations offered 103 places across 27 local sites for young people taking part in civil service projects. The committee also collaborates with public institutions, schools, and civic organizations on community education. One example is “Guida la tua vita,” a road-safety education project for secondary-school students developed with partners including Automobile Club Pescara, ANAS, FIAB, and local authorities. Through regional coordination, practical services, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships, ANPAS Abruzzo works to strengthen public assistance and promote safety, prevention, and social responsibility across the region.
