ANPAS Marche is the regional committee of the National Association of Public Assistance (ANPAS), a major Italian voluntary public-assistance organization. It coordinates 43 member associations across the Marche region, supporting their development and promoting shared values of solidarity and community service. Working with volunteers, local authorities, institutions and nonprofit organizations, ANPAS Marche provides emergency and urgent-response services, medical and social transport, and assistance during cultural and sporting events.
Its member associations operate basic and advanced emergency vehicles within the regional 118 emergency system and also carry out non-emergency patient transport and organ transport for the regional health service. The organization’s trained volunteers support civil protection operations when activated by the regional department, helping communities during emergencies. ANPAS Marche also offers training and continuing education for volunteers, employees and members, and promotes the Civil Service as an opportunity for learning and civic contribution.
In collaboration with ANPAS National, it assists families pursuing international adoption and develops community projects
