The Académie Nîmoise de Self Défense (ANSD) was established in 2014 with a mission to promote martial arts and self-defense for all ages, including specialized programs for women. Located in Nîmes, the academy offers a comprehensive curriculum featuring traditional Japanese Aikido and Russian Systema, along with unique self-defense classes tailored specifically for women. Classes are available Monday through Friday, accommodating both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Led by Jacques Lecomte, a seasoned martial artist holding multiple black belts in Aikido and Systema, attendees benefit from expert guidance. ANSD is affiliated with the French Federation of Aikido and Budo, ensuring high standards and recognized training. The academy hosts regular workshops and stages, providing opportunities to deepen skills in self-defense and improve physical agility.

With an emphasis on education and practical self-defense techniques, ANSD empowers individuals to cultivate confidence and resilience through martial arts, making it an ideal choice for those interested in self-protection and personal development.
