Anshin Dojo

Anshin School of Karate, nestled in Canada, is a premier dojo dedicated to the authentic practice and promotion of Matsubayashi Shorin-ryu karate, a revered Okinawan martial art. Founded on the teachings of the late Soke Takayoshi Nagamine and under the guidance of Sensei Yoshiko Dometrich, Anshin stands proudly among only five karate schools in Canada recognized for this tradition. The chief instructor, Sensei Steve Trombley, plays a pivotal role in imparting the rich history and techniques of both karate and Ryu-Kyu Kobudo to his students.

The school emphasizes structured training with classes available for adults of all skill levels, held on Mondays and Thursdays. Anshin School of Karate also offers unique opportunities for continued learning through seminars, including visits from Master Takayoshi Nagamine and extensive teaching experiences across several countries. This commitment to tradition and excellence makes Anshin a vital hub for martial arts enthusiasts looking to deepen their skills in a supportive and authentic environment.
