About ANTHC
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) works to optimize health and well-being through collaborative partnerships and services for Alaska Native communities. Its programs span direct patient care, community health, environmental health, research, education, and health system support. At the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC), services include specialty care, a walk-in clinic for urgent, non-emergency needs, behavioral health care, telehealth, and help coordinating patient travel and lodging in Anchorage. ANTHC also offers insurance and benefits assistance and wellness, prevention, and safety resources.
Beyond clinical care, the organization supports community health through behavioral health resources, rural utility management, water and sanitation projects, climate initiatives, and health facility services. Its research and epidemiology work contributes to public health, while provider training, professional development, Alaska Community Health Aide Programs, and scholarships help build skills and workforce capacity. ANTHC also provides tools such as the ANMC Shuttle Tracker and shares news, educational resources, and health information. Through these interconnected services, the consortium supports patients, providers, and communities across Alaska.
