Anthony Reynolds Gallery is a renowned contemporary art gallery that has been representing both established and emerging international artists since 1985. With a rich history dating back to 1969, when Anthony Reynolds organized his first exhibitions in the North West of England, the gallery has grown to become a prominent player in the art world. Throughout its journey, the gallery has showcased the works of over 300 artists from 27 different countries, totaling an impressive 230 exhibitions across three locations.
Their roster currently includes 18 talented artists who have collectively won over 100 major international awards and have their works featured in renowned museum collections worldwide. In 2015, Anthony Reynolds Gallery adopted a new model, maintaining all the activities of a primary gallery but without a fixed exhibition space. This allows them to collaborate with professional colleagues and exhibit artists in the most suitable context for their work, whether it be in terms of space, program, geography, or clientele.
This flexible approach enables them to adapt to external financial or social changes. To further expand their reach and support unique projects and ideas, the gallery launched the Pataphysic satellite website in 2020. By embracing diversity and sharing experiences and resources, Anthony Reynolds Gallery aims to provide opportunities that celebrate the importance of difference within a homogeneous practice.
