F.U.R.E.A.L. (Furry Universal Representation for Education, Arts and Literature) operates Anthro SoCal, an annual furry convention in Southern California. Formerly known as Another Furry Con, the event brings together furries, artists, cosplayers, and enthusiasts for a weekend focused on community, creativity, and shared interests. Anthro SoCal 2026, themed “Beast Brawl: Primal Fury,” is scheduled for September 18–20 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California.
The convention offers a varied program of activities and services, including panels, performances, meetups, livestreams, gaming, and creative spaces. Attendees can take part in fursuit events such as a photo gathering, parade, and dance competition, as well as nightly dances, a pool party, and other themed gatherings. The event also features an animal arena, a fursuit maid cafe, Sunday brunch, and designated 18-plus activities and safe spaces. Artists and dealers can participate through the art show, Artist Alley, and Dealer’s Den, with vendor applications and event information available.
