About ANTIBIOTICS
The Antibiotic brand is a leading organization in the field of clinical microbiology and antimicrobial therapy. Established in 1997, it was founded by Professor Strachunsky L. S., a member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
Over the years, the organization has grown to include 48 regional branches and more than 1300 members. Currently, the Antibiotic brand is led by Professor Kozlov R. S., the Chief Specialist in Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Resistance of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
The Antibiotic brand collaborates with the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and international societies in the field of clinical microbiology and antimicrobial resistance, such as ISC, FESCI, FEMS, WHO, APUA, ESCMID, ASM, and the European Commission. Their activities include monitoring antibiotic resistance at both regional and interregional levels, publishing a scientific journal, organizing conferences and courses for professional development, and conducting research projects. As a member of FEMS, the Antibiotic brand is at the forefront of advancing knowledge and practices in clinical microbiology and antimicrobial therapy
