Antichità le Colonne is a family-run antiques shop in Florence, located in the city’s historic centre at Via del Moro 38/R. Founded by Ottavio Baldacci in 1970, the business continues a family tradition that began with his grandfather Ivo in the early 1950s. Today, Marco and Susanna Baldacci represent its third generation.
Set inside a 16th-century palazzo, the shop offers a carefully selected range of antique furniture, paintings, sculptures, bronzes, chandeliers, silverware, decorative objects and rarities. Its furniture collection includes cabinets, bookcases, chests of drawers, benches, consoles, tables and writing desks, alongside lighting and other art objects. Antichità le Colonne also buys antiques and selected pieces of modern and contemporary art, design and 20th-century furnishings.
The shop offers free valuations, including home visits, and can collect pre-owned items, with cash purchases available. In addition to its showroom, it participates in events such as Mercanteinfiera in Parma and occasionally hosts small exhibitions and temporary shops
