AntiMicroX is a free, open-source-style controller mapping application for Windows and Linux that lets users operate games and other programs with a gamepad. It translates controller buttons and analog sticks into keyboard keys, mouse movements, clicks, macros, and scripts, making it useful for games and applications that do not natively support controllers. Users can create and save separate profiles for different games, configure actions for button holds and releases, adjust mouse speed, and use analog controls for more precise movement or aiming.
The software can also assign multiple tasks to a button, including opening programs. AntiMicroX is the actively maintained successor to the original AntiMicro, which is no longer updated; the newer version offers ongoing updates, support for modern controllers, broader system compatibility, and an improved interface. Downloads and installation options include a Windows installer and Linux packages such as AppImage and Debian/Ubuntu files, with guidance for Flatpak, Fedora, openSUSE, and Arch Linux.
It supports controllers connected to a PC by cable or Bluetooth
