Antioch Flyers

Antioch Flyers is a veteran-founded nonprofit aviation community based at New Kent County Airport in Quinton, Virginia. Its mission is to make aviation more accessible while connecting veterans, young people, families, and aviation enthusiasts through mentorship, safety, and STEM/STEAM education. The organization welcomes people with varied interests and backgrounds, including pilots, students, mechanics, drone operators, mentors, volunteers, and community supporters; no prior aviation experience is required.

Antioch Flyers focuses especially on helping veterans explore pathways into civilian aviation careers and giving young people hands-on opportunities to discover aviation and related professions. Its activities and planned offerings include affordable aviation education, flight simulator training, community fly-ins, and opportunities to build flight experience with qualified member flight instructors. The group is also seeking flight simulator options and airworthy aircraft to support its work. Membership, donations, and sponsorships help advance its mission, while community events and outreach offer ways to get involved. Antioch Flyers aims to bring people together to learn, serve, and pursue new opportunities in aviation.
