Powerland Heritage Park, located in Brooks, Oregon, is a unique and nostalgic destination that offers a wonderful experience for visitors. Owned by Western Antique Power, Incorporated (WAPI) and maintained by the Antique Powerland Museum Association (APMA), the park showcases the rich history of the region. The park features a variety of museums and attractions that cater to all interests.
From antique machinery and gas engines to steam-powered cranes and tractors, there is something for everyone. Visitors can also explore the blacksmith shop, country store, and the French Prairie Heritage Rose Garden. The highlight of the park is the annual event called The Great Oregon Steam-Up, which attracts people from far and wide.
This event originated from the popular threshing bees held in the Silverton and Woodburn areas. It has grown over the years and now takes place on the expansive 62-acre property. Powerland Heritage Park relies on the support and volunteer labor of the community to maintain its operations.
Donations are greatly appreciated and can be made through their website or PayPal. So, come and visit Powerland Heritage Park to experience a truly unique and educational journey through the history of Oregon
