About Anti-Trafficking Review
The Anti-Trafficking Review is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW), a worldwide alliance of more than 100 non-governmental organisations advancing the human rights of migrants and trafficked persons. The journal promotes a human rights-based approach to anti-trafficking and examines trafficking in its wider social and political contexts, with particular attention to gender, labour, and migration. Its global perspective connects local experiences with broader policies and responses, and each issue explores an emerging or overlooked theme.
The Review publishes scholarly articles, short articles, editorials, and book reviews, bringing together research and perspectives from academics and practitioners. Its current issue focuses on care work, intimate labour, migration, and exploitation, featuring contributions from several countries and exploring workers’ experiences, exploitation, resistance, and possible rights-protecting policies. Readers can access current and past issues, while researchers and contributors can find information about submissions and the journal’s editorial team.
The Review also contributes to discussions relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals, including gender equality, decent work, and justice
