ANTREC – Asociația Națională de Turism Rural Ecologic și Cultural din România, înfiinţată din anul 1994, e o organizație non-profit care identifică, dezvoltă şi promovează turismul rural românesc. ANTREC are un număr de 3500 de membri, pensiuni turistice şi agroturistice însumând peste 20.000 de camere în 1000 de localităţi, din 32 de judeţe Membră a Federației Europene de Turism Rural din 1994, recunoscută pe plan național și internaţional drept lider în dezvoltarea turismului rural românesc și încurajarea conservării ecologice, precum și a păstrării culturii tradiționale româneşti. Susţine permanent păstrarea identităţii culturale româneşti prin organizarea unor manifestări cu caracter complex, care tind să împletească tradiţionalul cu inovaţia.

About Antrec Tulcea
ANTREC Tulcea, a branch of the National Association for Rural, Ecological, and Cultural Tourism, is a non-governmental organization that identifies, develops, and promotes Romanian rural hospitality and tourism. Established in 2002, ANTREC Tulcea was the first branch to obtain legal status, setting specific objectives for the sustainable support and development of rural tourism in Romania. Their goals include creating a favorable environment for tourism development, identifying and establishing new guesthouses, improving existing tourism products, enhancing the quality of national tourism for sustainable growth, increasing the number of visitors to the county through the guesthouse network, and promoting their unique tourism products on the national and international market.
ANTREC Tulcea offers specialized consultancy for starting, managing, and conducting tourism activities, as well as legal, economic, and fiscal advice for establishing new guesthouses. They maintain a comprehensive database on tourism offerings in the Danube Delta and the national and international tourism environment. Through their efforts, they have created a network of 62 approved or in the process of approval guesthouses in 17 localities.
They also collaborate with the Danube Delta Reserve Administration to establish a consultancy and information center. ANTREC Tulcea has initiated, developed, and implemented various projects to promote cultural gastronomy, electric hybrid solar catamarans, fishing competitions, sustainable rural tourism human resource development, and more. With a strong online and media presence, ANTREC Tulcea remains dedicated to the sustainable growth of Romanian rural tourism
