Hangyafarm is Hungary's premier ant farm specialist, dedicated to the exploration and cultivation of various ant species. Founded in 2016 by Ádám Bakos, the brand has evolved from a simple online store into a comprehensive platform for ant enthusiasts. Hangyafarm offers a wide range of products, including formicariums, essential equipment, and informative books, as well as accessories and engaging video content on their YouTube channel. With a strong emphasis on education and scientific outreach, they produce high-quality videos that provide tips and tricks for potential ant keepers, reaching hundreds of thousands of viewers each year.
In 2022, they expanded their reach by opening a physical store in Dorog, allowing customers to see displayed ant farms and receive guidance on ant care. The brand frequently participates in terrarium expos, fostering a community of ant lovers through shared experiences and knowledge. With publications and ongoing research into ant habitats, Hangyafarm continuously promotes a deeper understanding of these fascinating creatures.
