About Anvil AI
Anvil is a private, offline AI assistant designed for iPhone, allowing people to use AI without an internet connection or an account. After downloading its model, users can chat with the assistant while traveling or offline, dictate notes that it titles and files, add tasks, and ask questions. Anvil also generates images directly on the phone. Anvil Pro includes unlimited image generation, with no cloud processing or credits required.
The app is available in Anvil Core and Anvil Pro. Core includes on-device chat history, memories, photo and file uploads, passcode lock, chat export, and speech-to-text. Pro adds unlimited image generation and Super Mode queries, as well as Talk Mode, custom system prompts, sampling controls, app icons, and themes. Super Mode can use web search, making it an optional connected feature. The site also discusses reports and iCloud backup in its privacy policy. Anvil offers a free tier and Pro plans billed monthly or as a one-time lifetime purchase, and invites users to request a beta invite through TestFlight.
