Its capabilities span simulation science, effects science, data science, and systems engineering. In simulation science, Anyar develops and evaluates models and integrates them with codes and simulations to support applications such as performance estimation, munitions effectiveness, system-of-systems trade studies, and force simulations. Its effects science work covers the “launch to lethality” lifecycle, including weapon release physics, aerodynamics, propulsion, guidance and control, collaborative autonomy, and the lethality, survivability, and vulnerability of weapons and targets.

The data science team supports developers, analysts, customers, and partners with experiment design, simulation post-processing, and analysis and visualization of large-scale studies. It also applies optimization and uncertainty quantification methods and develops machine-learning surrogate models for high-fidelity simulations.
