About ANZ LitLovers
ANZ LitLovers is a vibrant online community and blog dedicated to celebrating and exploring literary fiction from Australia and New Zealand. Founded by Lisa Hill and her late co-founder Kim Dwyer, the blog offers insightful reviews and commentary on a wide array of topics, including contemporary international fiction, classics, and occasional non-fiction. With a special focus on translations and diverse voices, ANZ LitLovers serves as a rich resource for avid readers who enjoy deep literary discussions.
In addition to blog posts, ANZ LitLovers hosts a reading group that fosters connections among book enthusiasts. This inclusive group engages in discussions about various literary works via email, creating a supportive space for readers of all ages. Proudly featuring a First Nations Literature Reading List and spotlighting Australian authors, ANZ LitLovers not only promotes local literature but also encourages readers to support Australian publishing. With its roots in Melbourne, ANZ LitLovers is a testament to the passionate literary community in the region.
