AO Aviation

AO Aviation LLC is an aviation design and engineering company focused on improving the safety and utility of general aviation aircraft, particularly the aging fleet. Based in Wichita, Kansas, the company combines 3-D design and analysis using SolidWorks with more than 70 years of major original equipment manufacturer design experience. Its capabilities include FAA-approved Supplemental Type Certificates and Parts Manufacturer Approval.

AO Aviation develops aviation products and provides contract engineering services to aircraft manufacturers, STC holders, and individual customers seeking specialized or additional design support. A featured product is its single-point refueling system for the Kodiak Model 100. Designed for convenient, under-wing access, the system enables refueling from outside the aircraft, can serve both wings simultaneously or independently, and includes an external digital quantity display. Its concealed access door avoids protruding receptacles and helps maintain the aircraft’s appearance. The system is designed to simplify refueling and reduce the risk of damage from fuel hoses dragged across the wing.
