Aomori City Premium Vouchers is a local economic support initiative established to encourage spending in Aomori City and assist residents and small businesses facing rising prices, labor costs, and continuing uncertainty. The program offers one 12,000-yen voucher booklet for 10,000 yen, providing a 20 percent premium. Each booklet contains twelve 1,000-yen vouchers: six can be used at any registered participating store, while six are reserved for businesses headquartered in Aomori City, including individual businesses whose owner’s address is in the city.

Vouchers are sold for cash only, and purchases cannot be refunded. The stated usage period runs from September 15 through November 30, 2026. Residents could apply to purchase up to three booklets per person, although the advance application period has ended; the site also reports a resale and an extension of the usage period.
