APAEG, the Association pour l’Aide à l’Enfant Greffé et à sa famille, is a Geneva-based nonprofit providing affordable accommodation for families of children receiving care at the HUG pediatric surgery unit and the Swiss Children’s Liver Center. Its furnished apartments help families stay close to their child during treatment, with flexible stays that may be extended according to medical needs and availability. The association offers four family apartments, accommodating between one and five people, as well as the Edredon apartment for patients receiving onco-hematology care.
Reservations and availability can be checked online. Rates are designed to remain accessible: CHF 30 for one night, CHF 25 per night for stays of two to five nights, and CHF 15 per night from six nights onward. Cleaning is available for an additional CHF 50 and is automatically charged for stays longer than two weeks.
Since 2023, APAEG has also incorporated Edredon Solidaire, which supports accommodation for families and relatives of patients hospitalized in HUG hematology
