APAF (Associação Paulista de Apoio à Família) is a nonprofit organization that has worked since 2004 to promote social inclusion and strengthen families experiencing vulnerability through education. Based in the Bela Vista area of São Paulo, it develops programs for children and women, supporting learning, wellbeing, and expanded opportunities.
Its Creches Aconchego I and II provide full-day early childhood care and education for children aged 0 to 4, including balanced meals and activities that foster development. The Pós Escola Aconchego program offers children aged 4 to 6 a supportive after-school environment, with play-based activities, music, sports, arts, English, and nutritional and environmental education. Espaço Iluminar provides free professional training for women in vulnerable circumstances, focusing on beauty, wellbeing, services, and entrepreneurship, alongside psychosocial support and career guidance.
APAF also offers ways for individuals and businesses to contribute, including donations, volunteering, partnerships, and gifts of supplies such as food, diapers, toys, and books. Its Armazém APAF sells items including fragrances, home scents, and scarves, with corporate orders available.
