APAlgarve, the Associação de Parapente do Algarve, is an association for people who share a passion for free flight in Portugal’s Algarve region. It brings pilots and enthusiasts together around paragliding and paramotoring, offering a community where members can connect, fly together and continue developing their interests. The association works to support the broader free-flight community by organising gatherings and talks, and by handling administrative matters related to its activities.

APAlgarve’s website highlights ways to explore flying, information about flight locations and disciplines, and services for members designed to make participation easier. It also features upcoming events and a competition section, including a team, competitions and the Liga APAlgarve 2026. Those considering membership are invited to join the association and take part in its flying community. A member’s account describes finding fellow pilots who provide support and encouragement after completing a pilot course. With its focus on shared experience, community support and organised activities, APAlgarve helps connect people who dream of flying and those already active in free flight.
