APAMCM, the Portuguese Association for Support to Women with Breast Cancer, is an organization dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer and advancing its mission through specialist care, information and community engagement. Its health centre offers oncological physiotherapy, including rehabilitation after breast cancer surgery and the prevention and treatment of lymphoedema. The association also shares informational leaflets and personal testimonials, helping people access useful guidance and learn from others’ experiences.

Alongside its healthcare services, APAMCM organizes activities that bring people together around wellbeing, culture and solidarity. These include the “Sempre Mulher” women’s race, open to families, as well as group outings and social events. The association invites people to become members, support its cause and contribute to its work, including through Portugal’s tax designation scheme. It also recruits health professionals, such as physiotherapists, to join its team.
