Apanage is an institution for the sovereign artist, bringing curatorial rigour and artistic authority to the support, presentation, and development of contemporary artists. Its approach centers on artistic independence and carefully selected curatorial positions, with applications open to artists worldwide. Apanage’s ecosystem connects artists with collectors, curators, partners, and audiences through several initiatives.

Apanage Gallery distributes members’ work through sales, licensing, and strategic placements in the art market. Apanage Days presents selected artists in public-space exhibitions, while Apanage Night hosts gatherings for exchange and relationship-building among artists, members, partners, and collectors. The Members Club provides a curated network for developing practices and long-term connections. Apanage also describes plans for an Academy offering strategic programs on the financial, professional, and personal aspects of an artistic career, and a Foundation intended to support the institution’s independence.

Its activities include exhibitions and international art-fair presentations, alongside opportunities for collectors, curators, and brands to collaborate. Through these services, Apanage aims to create lasting conditions for artistic sovereignty.
