Giant Steps is a Montreal-based organization founded in 1980 to support autistic people through education, employment and inclusion. Guided by a neuroaffirmative approach, it builds on individual strengths and works with families, professionals, employers and community partners to foster a more neuroinclusive society.

Its connected programs serve people across different stages of life. Giant Steps School supports students aged 4 to 21 with communication, independence and lifelong skills. Adult education programs help people aged 21 and older develop daily living abilities and pursue personal growth. Employment services offer training, workplace support and pathways to meaningful jobs through partnerships with inclusive employers. The organization also provides families, educators and organizations with practical resources and training, while its research and innovation work advances knowledge and practice through collaboration.

Opened in 2023, the Giant Steps Centre brings together autistic people, families, professionals and employers in a purpose-designed setting featuring specialized learning spaces, therapy and sensory regulation rooms, vocational training environments and assistive technologies.
