About APATAS
APATAS is the Asia Pacific Association of Technology and Society, serving as the key forum for exchange and dialogue on the relationship between modern technology and society in the Asia Pacific region. The association aims to generate new knowledge, models, approaches, and strategies to understand the effects of technology on society. They also strive to promote understanding and awareness of technology issues, facilitate collaboration among academic institutions, research institutes, and public organizations, and undertake academic research on complex technology-related issues.
APATAS is a non-profit organization governed by an Executive Board composed of leading professionals from various fields. The APATAS Secretariat, based in Hong Kong, handles the day-to-day administration of the association and provides support for all activities. APATAS welcomes anyone interested in technology and society to join their network and offers benefits such as networking opportunities and event discounts.
