APA Torres Vedras is an animal-protection association based in Torres Vedras, Portugal, dedicated to promoting dignity and respect for animals. It receives stray animals and provides treatment, sterilization, and ongoing care, while raising awareness in the local community about the value of animal life. The association invites the public to support its work in several ways, including adopting an animal, sponsoring one, making a donation, becoming a member, volunteering, or partnering as an individual or institution.

It emphasizes that adoption is a serious responsibility and encourages prospective adopters to consider it carefully. For people unable to keep another companion animal, sponsorship offers an alternative way to help. APA also organizes sterilization campaigns and awareness activities, and offers charitable bathing and grooming services for pets by appointment.

Visitors can arrange to meet the animals, help, or provide companionship. Through community participation and contributions, APA works to feed, care for, and sterilize animals, and shares updates about its partnerships, projects, vaccinations, and activities
