APCAT Mantova

APCAT Mantova ODV is a volunteer organisation in Mantova, Italy, focused on supporting people and families affected by alcohol-related and other complex difficulties. Its work is based on the Ecological-Social Approach associated with the Hudolin method, which views personal wellbeing in connection with family and community life. The organisation provides information about local Alcohol Treatment Clubs, known as Club Alcologici Territoriali.

These are multifamily communities, generally involving between two and twelve families together with a facilitator, called a Servitore-Insegnante. Meetings offer a space for people to address alcohol-related problems, other risky lifestyle habits, and family or social distress. APCAT Mantova also shares educational resources explaining its approach and has organised awareness courses on ecological-social methods for addressing alcohol-related and complex problems.

Through its website, the organisation publishes information about its history, local clubs, related topics, and ways to get in touch. It also invites supporters to direct their Italian five-per-thousand tax allocation to the organisation, without making an additional payment
