About APCI
Welcome to APCI - The United Voice of Independent Pharmacy. APCI, founded in 1984, started as a buying group for a small number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Today, we have grown to over 1,800 member pharmacies in 26 states.
Our mission is to represent and advocate for the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies in the healthcare marketplace. As the leading cooperative for independent pharmacies, we provide our members with a wide range of products and services. Our offerings include generics and vendor contracting, medication therapy management, front-end development, advertising and marketing, legislative affairs, clinical and claims management, and more.
We also provide resources and support for pharmacy retailing operations through our PRO program. At APCI, we aim to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by offering innovative and targeted programs. We strive to provide leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members.
