APES

APES CIC is a welfare-focused organisation providing rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and practical support for exotic animals, their keepers and local communities. Its services are coordinated across the APES network, helping people find appropriate guidance and support, from urgent rescue needs to everyday care. APES offers routes for surrendering or adopting animals, reporting lost and found pets, accessing pet care and boarding, and arranging educational visits. It also shares welfare guidance and information on ethical rehabilitation, adoption and rehoming policies, and individual welfare decisions.

Education and public benefit are central to APES’s work. The organisation provides species-focused learning experiences and guidance intended to help people care for animals safely and responsibly. Supporters can contribute through donations, fundraising, volunteering and sponsorship, helping fund food, treatment, safe housing, enrichment, rescue operations and relocation needs. APES CIC also publishes service updates, policies and practical information through its website and newsroom. Its public routes are designed to direct people to the relevant service, while maintaining a welfare-first approach to animal care and placement.
