The Alliance for Public Health (APH) is an international charitable foundation based in Kyiv, Ukraine, working to improve public health and sustain essential care. Its programmes focus on HIV prevention and response, harm reduction, hepatitis care, and support for communities facing health risks and other challenges. In Ukraine, the Alliance and its partners reach around 250,000 people at highest risk of HIV each year through prevention programmes; the organisation reports that these efforts have helped avert 50,000 new HIV infections.
APH also supports services during emergencies, including mobile clinics that connect people with medical care, and works to maintain health support amid war and displacement. Beyond Ukraine, the Alliance shares its expertise across the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region and internationally, with experience in 56 countries. Its work is supported by research, data and learning resources, including HIV analytics, e-learning, and tools such as SyrEx and REAct.
The organisation also provides programme information, publications, tenders and partnership opportunities, and welcomes donations to support its work
