The Appaloosa Horse Club UK (ApHC UK) is a UK-based society formed in February 2000 to promote and preserve Appaloosa horses in accordance with the standards of the American Appaloosa Horse Club, the breed’s parent organisation. The club supports owners, breeders and enthusiasts through membership, horse registration and information about the breed’s history and characteristics. Its resources include membership guidance and application options, registration and passport information, stallion licensing details, forms, documents and frequently asked questions.
ApHC UK also organises and promotes shows and other events, with an events calendar, performance and versatility activities, and published show reports and results. For those interested in buying or breeding Appaloosas, the club provides listings of horses for sale, a stallion directory, and opportunities for stallion information and advertising. Its online shop offers branded clothing. The website also shares news, important updates and articles, alongside club governance information such as its membership charter and grievance procedure.
