API 52

Association de Personnes Invalides (A.P.I.), also known as API 52, is a support association based in Breuvannes-en-Bassigny, France. Its purpose is to bring people together around issues of disability and invalidity, offering guidance and support to people recognised as living with invalidity, whatever their category or disability.

The association helps members understand their rights and administrative procedures, including matters involving retirement, social security, benefits and the MDPH. It also directs people to relevant partner associations and social, legal or medical services. To reduce isolation, API 52 provides moral and social support and opportunities for welcoming discussion. Its work additionally includes advice, training and connections with suitable organisations to assist with professional reintegration, as well as raising awareness of invalidity and defending the rights of affected people.

API 52 welcomes people experiencing partial or total invalidity and encourages them to contact the association or meet its volunteers at its regular sessions.
