About Qode Interactive
APIFA is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming pharmaceutical manufacturing in Sub-Saharan Africa. They work towards increasing the local production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and other health products and technologies (HPTs) in the region. Currently, only 20-30% of medicines consumed in Sub-Saharan Africa are produced locally, highlighting a significant gap in manufacturing capacity and access to affordable medicines.
APIFA collaborates with various stakeholders, including the private sector, public sector, research institutes, and civil society, to address these challenges. By leveraging partnerships, they support local production, explore new innovations, and enhance the quality and safety of medicines.
