Apincittà

Apincittà APS is an environmental association based in Lombardy, Italy, dedicated to protecting bees and fostering urban biodiversity. Through its Apicittadine project, the organisation creates and supports urban beekeeping initiatives that bring people closer to pollinators and the natural life of their city. Its work goes beyond honey production: Apincittà promotes awareness, community participation and a more thoughtful relationship between residents and the environment.

The association’s activities include projects focused on solitary bees, bee adoption, volunteering, educational events and corporate volunteering. It also presents its honey and offers opportunities to give nature-related gifts, while its Ecologia in Tavola initiative connects environmental themes with everyday life. Apincittà encourages residents, businesses and volunteers to help make cities greener, more welcoming and sustainable, recognising urban plants and wildlife as important members of the community.
