ApoE4. Info is a brand dedicated to understanding the APOE-ε4 allele and its impact on health. Founded by a group of individuals who discovered their high risk for Alzheimer’s, dementia, heart disease, and other conditions through personal genomics service 23andMe, ApoE4.
Info strives to collect and share information to save lives. With the medical community lacking consensus on prevention strategies for APOE-ε4 carriers, these individuals became genetic pioneers, searching for effective strategies together. They created forums, shared research, spoke to experts, and conducted experiments to find prevention strategies.
Realizing the value of their collective work, they established the ApoE4. Info platform in 2013 and a tax-exempt public charity in 2015.
