Aponwelfare is an animal protection and environmental organization based in Nigeria. Our mission is to end animal cruelty and protect the environment from human actions. We are a diverse group of effective altruists from various professional backgrounds, working together with a collaborative spirit towards shared responsibilities.

Our work focuses on key issues that impact animals, humans, and the environment. We are dedicated to promoting animal welfare, environmental health, climate action, and effective altruism. We believe that all living beings, including animals, deserve social justice, respect, and compassion.

APON's founder, AMB. Joseph Odika, is a passionate advocate for animal welfare and protection. He has fearlessly led protests and campaigns, spreading the vegan message and addressing the impact of factory farming.
