Flying R Kennel / Legend Shorthairs of Kansas is a German Shorthaired Pointer kennel focused on breeding, hunting, and field trial dogs. Its program highlights established pedigrees, including descendants of Crosswinds Truckin Fritz, Crosswinds Microchip, Beam Me Up Scotty, and Rawhide’s Clown. The kennel shares information about available dogs, planned matings, puppy reservations, and individual dogs’ hunting and training progress, helping prospective owners find pointers suited to their goals.

The dogs are presented for upland bird hunting and field trials, with updates describing their field ability, bird training, responsiveness, and development. Some young dogs and adult GSPs are offered to active hunting or trial homes, while selected stud dogs are available for breeding. The site also promotes recommended dog products and sport cameras and accessories. Flying R Kennel works with partners and trainers, including in southeastern Kansas, and invites interested buyers to contact the kennel for details about dogs, breeding plans, and requirements.
