App Ru is an independent directory of mobile applications that helps users find official download links across RuStore, Google Play, the App Store, and AppGallery. Its listings are organised into categories including shopping and marketplaces, transport and maps, banking, games, video and music, utilities, government services, messaging, health, communications, food delivery, and social networks. Visitors can browse a ranked selection of popular free apps, explore category collections, and see user ratings and download figures where provided.

Featured listings include services such as SberBank Online, Avito, VKontakte, 2GIS, and public-service apps, alongside entertainment, retail, and delivery options. The site also publishes news about updates to listed applications. App Ru states that it does not store or modify app files: each download link leads to an app store.

It is not an official site for the app developers and is not affiliated with them; its information is provided for reference, while developers set the terms of use
