AppAs

AppAs is a French-language editorial blog that describes itself as “a very closed circle open to laughing crowds. ” Its pages mix playful commentary, absurdist humor, cultural references, and historical photographs, creating an informal, eclectic reading experience. Posts range from comic observations and fictional exchanges to reflections on everyday life, music, food, plants, sport, and social history.

The site also shares images and archival material from institutions such as the National Library of Ireland, the National Library of Norway, and Perspektivet Museum, with dates, photographer credits, and reuse licenses where provided. These historical items feature subjects including industrial sites, Irish forts, women’s suffrage, portraits, and group scenes. AppAs presents its content as a stream of short, dated articles, often paired with captions or source information, and offers standard About and Contact pages along with links to friendly sites.

The material supports an independent blog or publishing project rather than a retailer or service provider: no commercial products or professional services are described
