Puerto de Comodoro Rivadavia

Puerto Comodoro Rivadavia is a vital logistical hub located in Chubut Province, Argentina, serving the industrial needs of the Golfo San Jorge oil basin and facilitating maritime transport. As the gateway to Patagonia, it lies strategically just 570 km from Puerto Chacabuco, Chile. The port features a variety of terminals, including the General Mosconi Dock for YPF S.A.'s fuel offloading, and the TERMAP-operated monoboya for crude oil transfer, essential for regional industrial activities.

In addition to its oil services, the port plays a crucial role in the fishing industry, supporting local fishery complexes with its significant docking capabilities. The Comodoro Rivadavia Free Trade Zone fosters industrial and commercial activities with customs and tax exemptions, making it the only free zone in Patagonia with access to the Atlantic Ocean. Moreover, the port continuously enhances its infrastructure, having recently completed a new cargo plaza, expanding its operational capacity while adhering to sustainability and safety standards, including ISO certifications.
