The National Apple Harvest Festival, a tradition for over 50 years, takes place during the first two full weekends in October. Located in the heart of Pennsylvania's Apple country, this festival celebrates the vibrant fall season with a delightful array of handmade crafts, delectable food, and an abundance of entertainment. Visitors can expect a wide range of attractions and activities, including steam engine displays, live music, antique cars, orchard tours, pony rides, craftsman demonstrations, and much more! What makes this festival even more special is its dedication to giving back to the community.
A significant portion of the proceeds supports local, state, and national charitable organizations, as well as the development and maintenance of Oakside Community Park, a 92-acre park owned by the Upper Adams Jaycees. Additionally, funds go towards the Upper Adams Jaycees' various projects, including community events and donations to those in need. By attending the National Apple Harvest Festival, you are not only immersing yourself in a delightful celebration of autumn, but also supporting numerous deserving organizations and groups.
