About Appleton Museum
Welcome to the Appleton Museum of Art, located in beautiful Ocala, Florida. With over 81,610 square feet of space, we are home to an extraordinary permanent collection of over 18,000 objects. Our museum combines classical and contemporary elements, with clean lines and stately Italian travertine marble.
Inside, you'll find a stunning interior courtyard and fountain that adds a touch of serenity to your visit. In addition to our permanent collection, we offer a wide variety of temporary exhibitions and special events throughout the year. Explore our outdoor sculpture walk and garden, or attend one of our film or music events.
We also provide themed tours and educational programs for children, families, and educators. The Appleton Museum of Art is the focal point of the Appleton Cultural Center, a vibrant complex that includes the Ocala Civic Theatre.
