MApple Tree Nursery

Founded in 2004, Apple Tree Montessori Nursery is a family-run childcare provider serving families across two settings in Harrow. It offers care and early learning for children aged three months to five years, aiming to create a warm, secure “home from home” environment where every child can grow and explore.

The nurseries combine a Montessori-inspired, child-led approach with stimulating learning opportunities tailored to children’s development and interests. Their programme includes a strong focus on literacy, with daily phonics, story bags and reading, alongside practical activities that build confidence and independence. Children also enjoy daily outdoor sessions in fully resourced garden areas, encouraging physical activity and exploration. Fresh, balanced meals are prepared on site each day.

Apple Tree emphasises nurturing relationships, experienced staff and close partnerships with parents, while celebrating each child’s strengths and supporting their individual next steps. Its two Harrow locations are in Harrow Weald and Stanmore. The nursery reports that both settings are highly rated by Ofsted and equipped with naturally lit playrooms, engaging resources and outdoor space.
