Appliance Compare is an independent UK appliance comparison service designed to help shoppers find products that fit their available space. Users can enter the width, height and depth of a kitchen gap or other intended location, then browse matching fridges and freezers, washing machines, dishwashers and televisions. Measurements are entered in millimetres, and any dimension can be left unconstrained.

The site draws product specifications, including dimensions, energy class and noise information, from the official EU EPREL register. It also presents estimated 10-year ownership costs, combining purchase price with projected running costs based on the current UK electricity tariff. A community-sentiment feature reflects feedback from real owners; the site explains that this is not presented as a formal reliability score unless supported by its structured survey.

Appliance Compare says it has no paid placements and that affiliate commissions from some retailer links do not affect rankings. It provides information about its methodology, affiliate disclosure and privacy practices, helping shoppers compare appliances with a focus on fit, energy use, long-term cost and owner experience.
