Agentura pro rozvoj Broumovska (APRB) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2004. Our main goal is to responsibly support the development of the region, initiate the return and arrival of creative individuals, and create a pleasant environment for living. We believe that every place can contribute to the cultivation of the world.

Originally, our intention was to create a tourist information website, support the development of tourism in Broumovsko, and contribute to the restoration of the devastated Broumov Monastery. Over time, we have expanded our activities and collaborations with various organizations in the region, the county, and abroad. We have also taken over the operation of guided tours in the monastery.

Our efforts culminated in 2013 when we received a substantial grant from the European Union, which allowed for the restoration of a large part of the monastery and the entire monastery garden. This led to the establishment of the Broumov Educational and Cultural Center, which offers a diverse year-round program including concerts, lectures, exhibitions, theater performances, and educational programs for both children and adults. The center now attracts around 60,000 visitors annually from the Czech Republic and abroad.
