Apremavi is an environmental NGO that has been dedicated to the production of native seedlings from the Mata Atlântica, restoring degraded areas, and preserving nature since 1987. With a commitment to sustainability and conservation, Apremavi offers a range of products and services to support their mission. One of their key offerings is the Apremavi Nursery, located in Atalanta (SC), which produces approximately 1 million seedlings per year from 200 different species of native trees from the Mata Atlântica.
These seedlings are used for the restoration of degraded areas, particularly in riparian forests and water sources. Apremavi also operates the Jardim das Florestas Environmental Center, situated in Alto Dona Luiza community, Atalanta (SC). This center serves as the headquarters for Apremavi and provides a unique space for environmental education and training activities, with accommodation, an auditorium, and a library.
The organization focuses on various thematic areas, including Climate and Forest Restoration, Biodiversity Conservation, Property and Landscape Planning, Environmental Education and Information, Public Policy, and Institutional Development. Apremavi aims to promote awareness and engage individuals and organizations in environmental conservation efforts. By purchasing native seedlings from Apremavi's nursery, you can contribute to the protection and restoration of the precious Mata Atlântica ecosystem.
