APS Orchidea

APS Orchidea is a nonprofit association founded in 1998 by parents, educators, and supporters committed to promoting the dignity and well-being of adults with disabilities. Based in Acquapendente, in Italy’s Viterbo province, the association works to support personal development and social inclusion through practical initiatives and community-based care.

Its main service is the Ex Podere San Vincenzo residential community in Proceno, managed by Orchidea and active since 2005. The home can accommodate up to eight adults with disabilities who no longer have their parents. It is located in a farmhouse within a small agricultural property, where the grounds can support activities such as gardening and growing produce. The association also shares information about its initiatives, including meetings and community activities, and promotes opportunities for participation and connection. Through its residential service and wider work, APS Orchidea aims to help people with disabilities build a dignified present and future. The organization is located on Via Gramsci in Acquapendente and provides contact by telephone and email.
