About Асоциация за производство
APSTE is the Association for the Production, Storage, and Trading of Electric Energy. Founded in 2019 by Bulgarian and international companies, APSTE advocates for the implementation and development of appropriate policies and regulatory frameworks in Bulgaria to support the transition towards a sustainable, low-carbon, and secure energy system. APSTE supports and encourages corporate power purchase agreements to stimulate the development of new renewable energy projects in the country, as well as energy storage technologies and innovative approaches to trading green electricity.
Creating optimal conditions for scientific and research activity, investments, innovation, and the growth of renewable energy technologies and business models in production, transmission, distribution, storage, and trading is of paramount importance to APSTE. They aim to build local, regional, and transnational partnerships for development and connect members through conferences, meetings, and forums.
